Today I took 32 people from our Probus Club to the Samford Historical Village. On arrival we were met by Jeff as he welcomed everyone. We did the morning tea and tour entry, and I must say , the morning tea was delicious. Home made scones, pikelets, jam and fresh cream with lovely sandwiches, what a treat. All of our members had a really good look around the Vllage, which brought back some great memories of early childhood, and how a lot of our pioneers fared.

Run by friendly volunteers who keep this beautiful museum running. Without them, this place would not exist. They also have guided tours.

A wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. Very interesting, easy way to learn about the history of Samford and surrounding areas - and Brisbane itself. Absolutely fascinating really!
